Kenyee, thanks for thinking it's dedication rather than insanity. For some reason I've always really liked working in the extreme winter. You get shots that aren't in every photog's files and it's generally pretty peaceful. It's hard to get away from it all in the summer. It's easy to get away from it all in winter--speaking of the experience more than the photography. Rivers and streams and waterfalls and such get quite interesting at such temps as well.
