K-x, how do you reset the image counter?

I put a SD card that was in my former K110D into the K-x, the file number was about 6456 on the K110D

now even if I reformat the card, the K-x keep incrementing the image file as 6000s

how do I reset the counter?

Here is the solution:

1. format the card on the camera, then take one shot right after that
2. put the card into a card reader to your PC, rename the img file (from IMGP6xxx.jpg) to whatever number you want (for example: IMGP2001.jpg)
3. put the card in your camera and shoot away
4. check again and see if the number will be 2002, 2003, 2004 ...
5. if doesn't work, set the camera menu item: File No. to RESET, then redo 1 to 4 as above. If you do this, make sure you change the File No. to CONTINUE again after you've got correct file No.
