K110D and Samsung issues?

oh, I just remembered...
a while ago we were buying camera for my girlfriend (she was getting frustrated with my old Fuji S5600) we ended up buying K100D with Tamron 70-300 lens for good deal...
anyway, that guy in the shop tried to convice me that K110D and Samsungs (GX-1L and GX-1S) have compatibility issues with lenses, i.e. that they don't take all the lenses as K100D and K10D and *ist range...
I thought (and I still do) in this way they are exactly the same, and I think he was saying it because he didn't stock any of the other ones
can anybody shed a bit of light on this matter, am I right??
thx

Sounds like baloney to me. Even did a quick Google search to see if there was some issue out there that I hadn't heard of. Nothing.
Compatibility is one of the great things about Pentax. I have a couple old 'M' lenses I use and will probably keep 'til I'm too old to turn a focusing ring ;-)

You're right, unless you take flash photography into account. The *istD and DS (don't know off hand about the DL) shine with their TTL flash support - this allows for using M and K lenses with flash without having to do any calculations of the proper f/stop. The K series has no TTL flash support.

Complete bull. The 110 is identical to the K100 with the exception of not having SR. The 110 will take any K mount lens, with the same functionality of all other Pentax/Samsung DSLRs.
