Does the Kx have an "in-focus" beep function

I suppose the subject line says it all--

I haven't been able to find this answer in the specifications--

Maybe an owner can answer? By the way, I know that the screen does not have in-focus LED points through the viewfinder--but does it have the in focus "diamond" in the information line?

Thanks in advance--

Yes it does beep when in focus...plus there is a green box that lets you know when the K-X is in focus

There is also a way to disable the beep if it is bothersome.

The red points actually do not tell you that it is in focus, just which point is selected. (And the K-x does not have that, as you know).

The diamond and beep are there. I usually rely on the beep, but it makes more sense to look for the diamond, since next to it is the SR hand. Focus often is faster than SR.
