K100D Super - SR (shake reduction) on tripod

K100D Super manual mentions to switch off the SR while on tripod. I understand that SR may be redundant while on tripod, but my concern is that the manual mentions this with a "caution" symbol as if the camera will be damaged with SR on while on tripod.

Is there any issue with leaving SR on while using this camera on tripod?

No, no damage will be done to the camera.
SR will still attempt to 'stabilise' the scene via fine sensor movements even if on a steady tripod, which will generally produce a less sharp image than if SR were switched off.
