While I have never actually tried myself I have seen a number of posts in the past about reverting to older firmware.... I understand from these that its not possible.

I installed the hacked 1.3 firmware and then the original 1.1 now my da*50-135 focuses screw driven when is on the K10 and i must say is much faster. I am glad i kept my K10 and not sold it.

Can you supply more info on how you did that? there have been a number of posts in the past that reverting back the firmware was not possible.
I am sure that your method will be useful to others.

I downloaded the hacked firmware from here Vietzon.com Forums then i followed the standard procedure for firmware upgrade to my K10d then i installed the original 1.1 firmware and everything works ok. But please be very careful during the firmware installation procedure.

Also don't be fooled from the 1.3 indication at your camera after you have installed the hacked firmware, the camera will let you install the 1.1
