K2000 NR

I was reading the manual for the KM/K2000 and it mentioned turning off the noise reduction. Is this just for under 30 seconds? Or can it be turned off for longer exposures? It did not specify about forced DFS on B shots over 30 seconds. I am thinking about buying a K2000 but need to be able to take some astrophotos up to 15/20 minutes without the camera doing the DFS. I can take a few dark frames and then subtract them by software later.

You can disable DFS on K-m. That's the "Slow Shutter Speed NR" in custom settings menu.
