Show Us Your Best K-7 Shots.

Well, I am pretty curious why nobody talks aboıt K-7 anymore, should we take this as "No news is good news"?, all high-ISO, green line issues resolved? Everything is settled and no complaints at all?

Or nobody is using K-7 anymore, they are all crippled after the 367'th firmware upgrade, and now they are all sitting on the shelves as collectors item?

C'mon folks, show us your best K-7 shots to help non-K-7 owners like me why we should get a K-7 ""As soon as our wallets are settled down"". We would like to know the your experience with K-7.

Or let us know your problems with your K-7 with your comments about why we shouldn't get one.

Why would you make a buying decision based on what other people post, especially with something as highly subjective as photography? What are your criteria for upgrading/purchasing a K-7? At least provide us with some background on what subject matter you like to photograph so we can supply you with relevant examples.

My flickr has loads of K-7 shots, both good and bad, as does the flickr k-7 pool. Again, both good and bad.

There are already plenty of fine images taken with the K-7 on the Post Your Photos! section, on Pentax Photo Gallery and other photo sites like flickr. Do yourself a favor and take the effort to browse the sites. I think you should make up your own mind if you wish to buy/upgrade to a K-7. It is your money after all. For me the K-7 is just a lot better than the K10D and K20D.

Well, I've had mine going pretty steady since I got it in mid-July. Here's 5 small images which I'm kind of partial to - all with the k-7 and the lenses listed above the photos:

16-50:

10-17 fisheye:

43mm limited:

50-135:

FA*400:

The reason why I'm so taken with this camera is 1) the fit and feel, 2) the weather sealing and 3) it can take the abuse.

Here are some of my first from the K7. Mine just arrived last week and I haven't even made it through the manual yet. I'm very pleased so far. I wish it had a similar sensor to the K-x in terms of high ISO. I got my brother one of those bodies for Christmas so maybe I can borrow his if need be.
I chose the K7 over it for more semi-pro features.

Sometimes you have to sound that way instead of you put yourself into the place speaking for the people, but still I strongly believe growing experience with K-7 is strongly needed especially in this forum, since actually there is not much discussion going on about IQ of the K-7 lately.

About my K-7, in Turkey Pentax had no importer for about 2 years, Pentax fired old one blaming sale numbers was inadequate, now I am waiting for quiet new importer&distributor prices, I will purchase locally for the sake of the warranty issues, if price difference will be not huge from US .

BTW my last (digital) 1.5 years of interests are in the gallery link of my signature. I haven't started scanning my film past yet.

Thanks to everyone contributed and will contribute.

Unfortunately, the camera is the smallest part of the picture. I discovered long ago that up grading my camera did nothing to help my photos. I'd like a K7 eventually, but I am under no illusions that it will suddenly make me a better photographer.

However it has helped my keeper rate for sports shots by quite a margin using the same techniques and glass.
