I have had the KX a few months now. I realized when I bought it that there would be a new model out soon but felt it was a more logical choice as a second body to my K20. It is nice and light for travel and I have really enjoyed it and the quality of photos it produces.
I still use the K20 quite a bit. Mainly for my wildlife photos. It is definitely more rugged than the KX but the KX makes for a better travelling companion. I am impressed with the KR but not so much as to get rid of the KX. The K5 may force me to sell the K20 though.
