I had a spare 30 minutes today and a vase of daisies. I figured might as well try taking pictures of flowers. Broke out the K-x and the tripod and moved the flowers over next to a window.

Rodny you are getting great results out of your K-x, and the 55-300 especially. Very nice stuff, especially the bird in flight. That is hard to do well. What's the bird in the 1st pic (6062) carrying? Looks like a couple of big seeds, or olives maybe.

Love the colours and detail from the Albinar Rodny. Just excellent. You really show how good the Kit lens is.Really good shots bud

Found the grasshopper in the pool, saved his life so I put him in the flower and took a couple of pics. He just stayed there. I guess he was happy

ISO 800, f/5.6 18-55 kit lens. 1/125 exposure. Taken in AV mode and the original picture was cropped in camera and it was lightly processed in Lightroom.

I like how simple it is. I tried it again a few hours after this one and couldn't get teh right lighting.
