My only truely decent shot over an entire day of Dragon Boat racing. Shot this with the 18-55 DA L on the Pentax K-x. Miserable day for taking pictures, rain, drizzle and fog all day. Played hell with getting the right exposure and made using the 55-300 a real pain. I shot over 500 pictures on Sunday, I'd say I have 10 keepers. I need more practice with the telephoto.

this is not my best shot but it is one that I was playin with while I was at Busch Gardens, I just like the contrast of colors. This image was taken with my kit 18~55mm lens but I still like the IQ of this lens, it is cropped out of a larger image using Lightroom 3~Attachment 99633

Hmmmm why is it my posted image doesn't look as sharp as the one on my computer?
The posted image really looks like crap compared to the original one that is resized

The images are compressed when uploaded to the site here using attachments - degrades the image quality quite a bit...
