::: WANTED TO JUST EDIT THE ABOVE POST BUT TYPED THIS IN THE WRONG BOX ~) :::

Images were shot in Raw Fmat with all in camera image adjustments turned off, so basically a really raw RAW image. The only PP used was a click or two of exposure adjustment and image sizing, there is also no crop in the images...

I just got my K-x yesterday. Here's a sample shot I took @800ISO. It's a bit noisy but it's not a lot noisy like my K100d was doing at ISO800.

@joe - I really like the effect that 8mm lens has on those interiors

Here is a photo from my first visit to the Redwoods in the Oakland Hills.
It looked like the sun was red through the Redwoods, and casting an intense red light on the tops of trees in dark forest.
On the way back to my car I found this clearing and got a decent view.
It just kept going and got more red towards the end.

Handheld with my SMC - M 50mm f/2.

Taken at Burning Man 2010 during the Megatropolis Burn. I only had my K-x for about a month (bought it in late July), and used a Tamron 70-300 for most of the week. (it's dangerous changing lenses out there) Good thing I had the drive mode set to Hi or else I would have missed this shot.

Yes, the effect turned out really good.

I shot 70+ photos in there, and all turned out really good, a few with aberation but that was to be expected with the lighting in the shrine and using a FE. The first image of the outside was pretty impressive when I pulled it off of the cam, the shrine building is pretty wide and I was really close to get a good crop, the 8mm gets soooooo much in the photo, really impressive...

HDR

I am new to Kx but it's superb!
Here is a handheld HDR taken by kx, merged by Photomatix.
(It's sharper than what you see here)

I think we aren't supposed to put edited pics here but actually it's only a merged photo!
hope you like it anyway

K-x Today, in camera processing, used a combination of in camera DF's (Color Extraction, Grayscale, HDR)

1st Image - Color Extraction Camera Filter, Extracted on Red
2nd Image - In Camera HDR Filter, 3-Click (High)
3rd Image - Color Extraction Camera Filter, Extracted on Green

Still trying to get the hang of this K-X, but am enjoying it thoroughly.

Here's another pic I snapped, this time of my dog. The focus isn't as clear as I wanted it to be, but it still turned out pretty good..
