Thanks... Ended up with about 8% keepers for the weekend of the shoot (took about 2,200 shots total) - turned out to be a great weekend.

68deluxe - very nice set, love the treatments you applied to the captures...

What stands out to me about this is that it is iso 3200. I think I was shooting at f4 and 1/30 second (which, in retrospect, may not have been the best idea).

This shot was actually taken from pretty far back using a Sigma 70-300mm. The lighting and distance made shooting his performance beyond difficult, but I managed to get a few decent shots out of the batch.

This shot surprised me, as I was just going to duck through the walkway under the grandstand to look for a bathroom on the other side. The colors and angles just struck me.

I got down on my belly in the dirt for this shot. I think it worked out for me pretty well, and I'm going to see if I can repeat when I go to another fair at the end of the month (barring any more camera calamities).

Nice shots guys But I believe your shots (the last few from Jim and the last one from Ronak) would be even better if you darken the sky somewhat. Either by using a graduated filter or in PP. I've found that the grad filters in Lightroom can do wonders to RAW files.

Keep up the good work!
