K-x + Kit lens 18-55

I recently obtained an almost new White K-x, it's a cutie! I got this mostly to check out the High ISO capabilities of the camera. It's been frustrating but little by little, I can see how different this camera operates and records colors/iimages compared to a K10 or K20. This one @ ISO3200, after a bit of tweaking and NR from a JPEG.

I picked up a cheap moonlight a little soft box (this kit: FP320SB1 Flashpoint II 320 Monolight Kit, 150 Watt Second, One Monolight Kit with 9.5'black Light Stand and 24" x 24" Softbox) and some Savage Seamless Paper for my backdrop. I'm loving it so far. It's crazy how creative you can get when you throw even just ONE light into the mix, especially when you play around with reflectors.
So true!

Thanks very much. I still regularly use my K-x even though I have a K-5 now, the K-x IQ is just exceptional.

The sensor in K-x has a gentle quality, especially in the yellows and reds. This photo would be gorgeous with any camera, but it is especially nice with the K-x.

Hmm, is there a minimum post number before you can link photos on this forum?
