Memory card door on K10D faulty

Have just taken a couple of pics, opened the memory door to take out the card and now it wont close.

Looks like the spring has gone ... anyone come accross this before?

It works ok if I tape the door shut btw.

I havent heard about this problem before but it does not suprise me the door opens with a bit of a twang, complete with cartoon sound effect. You may be able to repair this youself if you want to get rid of the tape as it does not look very complicated.
Can recomend asahi photo for repairs and they will also sell you parts.
