K-7 as a HD camcorder

Is the K-7 a good HD camcorder? Why yes and why no?

The video below shows that the K-7 works really nice. But would I be missing something if I use the K-7 only as a HD camcorder.

Okies. I just did a bit of a homework. Seems like most of the good HD camcorders use the 3CCD system. From the list below, the first four use 3CCD whereas the last one uses 3CMOS technology.

Five of the best HD cameras for independent filmmakers

Thanks for the info. I learned something completely new.
