Help with continuous shooting mode!

I'm on vacation and I must have messed up my setting for continuous shooting. It only takes 3 in a row or two in a row. I need it to shoot continuously for BIF's. I have a K-x and I'm very new at this.

sounds like you have it set to bracket the exposure. go to the drive menu (fn > up) and choose HI-drive

I have found that my K200D will only take ~3 shots in a row when shooting in RAW. This is a limitation of the buffer speed of the camera.

Ways around this problem are to shoot in JPEG or get a faster SD card. Recently, I have moved from a 15mb/sec to a 30mb/sec Extreme SD card. The result is now I get 4-5 shots in a burst before the buffer is filled....

Hope this helps some...

Just a thought, but you haven't accidentally told the camera to do lens corrections have you?
(Will the K-x do lens corrections?)

The gray notes in the image I posted above are things to check that can impact continuous shooting if it's already enabled (i.e., the last bullet item, RAW, etc).
