Amen!!! I have the same. I use the K20D for serious telephoto as you can't beat the clarity with the right lenses and the Kx for landscape, people and macro. Unbeatable combination. I bought the Kx because I needed a camera with video and was tired of changing lenses and getting dust and dirt on the K20D sensor while out in the field.
