K100d or K10D and others questions?

Hi, I'm From Argentina and i want to change my Canon A80 an enter in the DSRL World. As i have a couples of pentax lens(and i like a lot the new Pentax cameras) the K10d and the K100d are my choices.
I have a couples of questions(and sorry if my english is not correct).

One of the first think because i want a new camera is for the noise in low light (to take pictures of my Babygirl), for this is better a k10d or a k100d? is the diference very big?
I have some experience in Manual SRL(Pentax MX) , and i love all the controls of the K10d, but in Argentina the Price are very important.
I can purchase one K100d with a sigma 18-50 3.5/5.6 dc with a very good price, is the diference(quality, Af, built, etc) between the pentax lens and the sigma lens very big?
I read a lot in internet but i think that this forum has more experience in Pentax.
Thanks For All.

Marcelo

The K100D would do a better job in low light high ISO shoots. It has less noise at ISO 1600, and has a usable ISO 3200.

I would not buy that Sigma kit lens though. It is not a very good lens. Try to get one with the Pentax DA 18-50 kit lens, or even better for low light would be the Sigma 18-50 F2.8 EX DC Macro. It would cost a bit more of course, but is suppose to be a really good lens.

If low light pictures are important to you, you really need at least f/2.8. You might want to consider the Pentax SMCP-FA 35mm f/2.0. That's a really useful focal length on a dSLR, and from all I hear it's a pretty good lens. Or, there's also the 40mm f/2.8, which isn't as fast and which has a noticeably narrower field of view -- but it's also a really nice lens, and is easier to get and a bit cheaper. (This is the lens I use for taking pictures of my baby girls.)

Hi, thanks for the answers, i have 3 Pentax-m(manuals) lens, 50mm f1.7, 28mm f2.8 and a 200mm f4(i know the 1.5 factor).
The Kit (sigma or Pentax) will be the default lens in the camera, but i know that i will use a lot the manuals lens in low light.
If someone know another think about the Sigma 18-50 f3.5/5.6, please post the comments.(if someone has the 2 lens knows very well the difference).
I law later in the forum that some lens has problem with AUTO-ISO in k100d, is that right?
with the manual lens too? and what's happend with the non-pentax lens?

Thank Again to All!!!!!
