Batteries

My K10 came with a battery rated at 7.4v and 1620mah. I have some spare batteries from another camera that are rated at 7.4v and 1500mah which are the exact same physical size and shape. Can I safely use these in the Pentax?

You just have to make sure that the + terminal and - terminal are in the same position as the K10's original battery. Then, as long as the battery will slide into the battery cavity, then you should be fine. 1620mah versus 1500mah are the capacity of the batteries.

Many thanks for the reassurance. I thought it would be OK but a second opinion is always welcome with me and electronics.

Batteries from the Konica-Minolta 7D and Dimage A2 fit and work perfectly on the K10D, if those are then ones you have.
