Flash Question

I have an old Ricoh flash (model: XR Speedlite 300P) that still works fine. Is there any danger using it on my 10D?

Measure the voltage of the flash with a multi-meter. Less than 10v is definitely safe, 10-30v is debatable but probably safe.
