K-7 Ready to purchase plus Microphone

I've purchased from both B&H and Amazon but haven't spent this much on an item before so need to know if there is any feedback on whether either is preferred should there be any problems.

I've settled on the K-7 with 18-55 lens. B&H tells me everything in the box but it isn't so clear on Amazon. Should I assume it is the same?

I noticed a recommendation to use an external microphone for the video recording. I don't see this on the Pentax site or Amazon/B&H. I hope to do a video recording if possible in Joshua Tree. Any suggestions on what microphone to purchase and where?

I'm adding and extra D-L190 Ion Battery and memory card since I'll be off the beaten track with a 50 mile round trip to town if I need to pick up anything (the only store around is Wal-mart and Walgreens).

Are there any suggestions on what else I'll need? Would a Remote Control F be needed? I'll do a lot of macro photography and use to use the cable switch on the PZ-1p often.

You're better off getting more answers at the video section of the forum here: Pentax Video Forum - PentaxForums.com

As far as an external mic, I would recommend the Rode Stereo Videomic just because it's in the K-7 brochure.
