Thinking: Selling 2x K10D's and buying a K20D "or" K-7

I'm currently thinking of selling my two K10D's and buying a new K20D or K-7 and looking for opinions, pros, cons,

Edit: basically deciding the whether or not the pros of having a more advanced body outweighs having 2 bodies

FYI I feel I'm going to stay pentax even though my lense kit is rather small atm. I do feel I'd like to hang on to the pristine grand Prix but ebay prices are going strong for them and maybe I should sell

My first K10D is the Grandprix with approx 3000 clicks, and the other is a usual K10D that is manual focus (focus motor broken) with only 1900 clicks.

A50/1.4 , A*300/2.8 , DA18-55 WR , Viv S1 70-210, and a few m42's

That all depends on what kind of shooting you do. If you need better high ISO performance, go for the K20D; Otherwise K-7 all the way.

Thanks Purdy, I shoot all kinds of photography but havn't been shooting in awhile now... my Ist*DS saw the most action.

Weddings, Events, Gigs/Concerts, so lowlight performance is useful, though it is more about correct technique imo. If all else fails and I have permission, I go all manual and out comes the Metz

...ah, I've just made my situation worse... maybe wait for the next gen K-7 (MKII)?

You mean the K-x? I'm pretty sure op is talking about either getting the K20D or the K-7 here.

If you feel like you need to save money for better glass, then go for the K20D, otherwise the K-7 will have much improved build, wb, metering, af speed, fps, etc.
