No worries, I think the origin of the blue may come from the sky.
Let me try and show you what happened over there.

First lion taken with AWB (The K-7 did use 4300K for this picture), NO PP!!



Here is a crop:



Now the same picture set in Lightroom to daylight / 5500K



And the same crop again:



I still think that the K-7 AWB was fooled by the surrounding yellow colours of the environment.
And yes, the origin of the blue colour can be the reflection of the blue sky, amplified a lot by the AWB 4300K settings....
That's why I now ONLY shoot RAW since that gives me total freedom to work the white balance in PP.

you might get wrong color if you are using auoto wb. you can adjust it in WB. or using raw and adjust by software.
