Joy holding a DSLR again!

Due to bad health and bad times I sold all of my my cameras and equipment, what a sad time. I just recieved my K7 and pentax 17-70. It feels great, shoots so quiet as compared to my K20 and K10. It is great to be use a camera again.

Haven't had chance to go to photo shop yet.

Welcome back. How long had you been without a camera?

That's great to hear. You will like the 17-70. I just sold mine to another member here but only because I didn't use it enough to justify keeping it. It really is a great lens.

Very happy for your Gabe... how long has it been? K-7 is a fine camera, the shutter noise is very low like you mentioned. Recently a friend of mine acquired a 7D and he showed me the quite shutter modes (I think there were three) and I wasn't particularly impressed. Before I purchased K-7 I didn't care for this feature, but taking photos in church and other in-door areas has shown me how valuable it is. I hope your health improves, will be praying for you.
