You will be really pleased with the K-M enjoy.

Just to add to those that may be following this thread.

Here are a few examples of why the k100-D is a very capable DSLR camera body.

I hope these images upload after being downgraded in Photo Shop.

These images were captured in hand-held automatic mode with what I am reasonably sure was the kit DA 18-55mm lens.

Please note the speed of the power boat and the capture plus the truck on the bridge was moving at approximately 50KM/hr oh and the seagull in-between.

Also in the later part of the set the depth of field with the freighter captured from the beach. (next post)

Show me a Nikon or Canon that can capture hand-held like the last photo. Although it may not and is not a masterpiece of work. What it shows is the focus depth capability of a K100.

Me too. I am a K100D user since I went digital many years ago.

Some pictures from K100D as below.

1st Pic taken with Siggy 28-200mm at 50feet away from the subject.
150mm, f/8, 1/180s

2nd Pic taken from the stand across to the stage in Shenzhen, this showed the low light capability of the K100D. (also with Siggy)
200mm, f/5.6, 1/10s

3rd Pic taken across Guangzhou River at night with kit lens.
55mm, f/5.6, 1/15s

I think you guys should have posted your photos before the OP decided to get the Km and not after.
Anyway, whatever camera he has, it is actually after the skills of the person behind that equipment that makes the photo, although the equipment might help.
I'm still sticking with my K200D super as it is still a very capable camera with a very good high ISO performance.

If you had not the time to read my response.

Here is a recap of the first few lines,

As long as you've got a Pentax all is fine *

Perhaps you should think of replacing the focusing screen:
Focusing Screen

I'm very happy with my K100D super, and
as I use my old MF lenses I bought a new focusing screen and it*
really helps to focus in tricky conditions.
