I bought a used macro lens. It fits fine but I can't take pics with the viewfinder
but I can take pics with liveview. Also It work with dial on A but can't focus any other way. Can only use macro at 105 mm. Heck I have no idea what I am doing. Help.

i have a Kx dal 18-55 & 75-300 mm lens and then this lens.

Unless I'm mistaken, there is no 18-105 lens for Pentax. Are you perhaps referirng to an older manual focus 28-105? If so, then check out the sticky thread at the top of the Beginner's forum on how to use manual lenses - that might help get you started.

If this does turn out to be an issue with this lens specifically, I will move the thread to the lens forum where it probably belongs.

Yeah, I don't think there is one. But tokina was coming out with a 16-125mm (?)
