I'm in the minority. I sold my K20D and Grip to get a Kx. I have not regretted it one bit. I think that the overall IQ (sharpness, contrast) is better than the K20D. And the high ISO performance makes it easier to get good shots in low light or use faster shutter with my long lenses when shooting birds. The ergonomics are excellent. I don't miss the top LCD or front wheel at all. The only thing I miss is my grip because I shoot vertially a lot. I also miss TAV but overall I'm VERY happy with my decision.

VaughnA, loosing Tav is sorta funny with a camera that can do high ISO's this well. It's the perfect setting for the K-x

I agree. But overall I've gotten used to it and LOVE the Kx.

These are the functions that I miss when using my wife's k-x but I did learn to work around some of the other issues such as the lack of 2 wheels

Thanks for all the imput. I guess paying 500 dollars extra for (just the body) the K20 would be a bit of a stretch for me. I really am a babe in the woods with ISO as I don't think I have ever tried it. So as the Kx is free I might stay with it, and perhaps later look for a second hand K20.
Thanks for all the input.

you want higher pixel and weather seals get the k20. or if you want smaller body, faster focus, lower pixel, and better iso, get the kx

faster focus
I believe that should be "faster focus in low light". I don't find any difference in decent light.

I've had K20D for over almost a year and a half and just got the K-x; and I like them both. I used to carry an *ist DS in my car all the time but now the K-x started to compete for that space.

Over all, if I had to choose only of of them -- *ist DS, K-x and K02D -- I'd definitely go with the the K20D. As much as I like the *ist DS for its all-round capabilities for around $200, and the K-x for its high ISO noise management capabilities, SR and higher shutter speeds, I still like the feel of the K20D and its overall capabilities.

For now though, I am going to keep all of them three.
