Lots of great photos being posted at DP Review

Makes me want my K10D even more. Maybe in the next day or two.

Some good photo, degenerating discussion...

That first thread has some nice stuff and an appreciative audience; the second shows a valid experiment and the all too typical bashing by the measurbating group.

Now we are to believe that high ISO shots need some dark space and bad light; PLEEEEAAAZE!

The attached file was taken two nights ago in UNM Arena (THE Pit). Dionne Marsh, left unguarded in the paint; on her way to 1000 carreer points as a Lobo. The Exif should be included (ISO 1000, f/4, 1/250sec---handheld from my seat (SR ON), section 19, row 24 seat 16. Lens is 80-200 f/2.8 Tokina which has seen work on ZX-10, PZ1-p, *-ist-D, K100D and here on the K10D.

We sit about 10 rows from the floor even with the south charity line, this action was under the north basket. Image is straight from camera, thru PScs2 for resizing. WB is custom from white chairback seats across court opposite my seat. Light is typical for game without TV presence.
