Raw Only DNG on KX?

I just learned that on the KX with a manual lens and in M mode, the Av button stops the lens down and sets the shutter speed, so I don't have to use the Green button function as Tv shift. (Yes, I just learned this. I'm slow.)

Well, I've been shooting mostly JPEG but want to do more raw, and I read where someone assigned the Green button for this, to shoot raw only when you hit the green button.

You keep your default file format at JPEG, but when I went to play here, I see that it's giving me TWO DNG choices, and not the other Raw format.

Firmware bug for me?

You set RAW format in menu 3 - RAW File Format. That's the only place where that choice even comes up. Everything else is labeled RAW or RAW+.

Thanks--I see where I screwed up now. I was looking at the options, and the + was a little hidden and missed it.
