I guess the $100 instant rebate just expired after Father's day....

Hmmm, I wonder if there is another rebate for Independent's day coming up; if not, it will have in the fall before Photokina when prices on existing models from all vendors will drop.

Yep, did expire, even with it, it still cost me $1001 with grip and extra battery (they tagged on 4 bucks shipping for the battery).

P.S. I payed $ 740 for my K100 3 years ago, so for a weather sealed body, not bad in my book.

I've bought from Beach/Buydig and have been completely satisfied. I got my K7, btw--used, in the marketplace (completely satisfied with that transaction too.)

I ordered 2 W 80`s for kids from Beach Camera through Amazon, no problems.

I've edited my post to be a tad nicer to buydig, I'm certain they don't do this all the time. I doubt they did it just for me though.
