screen?

Is there a way to see what youre taking a picture of on the screen rather than through the viewfinder on the K110D and if so, how is that?

Nope there is not. Sorry Amanda I think your thinking of a point and shoot and the k110 doesn't have the function. I also have to say that if it did have that option with the size of the screen it would really be worthless any way. Ask Your self How could I tell what it really looks like in a 2.5 inch screen. You have a focus screen in the camera and the lines show center and bracket. My best suggestion would be to use the brackets to frame the subject if this is what you want a preview screen function for.

Well, sort of.

None of the DSLRs have a live view screen, only the viewfinder. However, you can set the DOF preview to take a shot and display it on the screen. It does not record to the SD card and you will have to take the shot normally.

Check your owners manual. You'll find all of the information there.

Pardon me, but there are exceptions: eg. two older Olympus models I can remember of: the E10 and the E20. (No flames please.) But I seem to remember at least one of their recent models has live LCD screen picture taking too. I might be wrong though.

The E-330 and E-510 both have live preview. So does the canon 1dmkIII. The fuji film s3pro also had a dodge live view mode and i think the s5pro has a version of it too.
