Latest Firmwares (Versions & MD5) for Pentax Cameras

Hello,
Well, I searched this kind of post on the forum, and could not find it. IMO, this should be made a sticky, and updated as they change...

As Pentax has made an habit of doing silent firmware updates, here are the latest versions available (last check of all firmwares on 20-Sept-10)...
If you have the full version number (PhotoMe can show it to you) and MD5 for older cameras, shoot! The more cameras will be tracked here, the better!

The version 1.01....10 update has been out for about a week but so far, I've not been able to find any info on what is fixed with this update.

Anyone out there know what it does?

This is a good idea! And how about links to where they can be obtained? Not sure if this needs to be different for different regions (Japan, Europe, N. America) but it would be very handy indeed. I am quite sure that some people do not update simply through lack of information.

OP edited to show the current list of FW versions available on Pentax.jp...
I'll compute MD5 sums tomorrow for all the old files (not that there is any point in it, as they won't be updated anymore!).

If users from previous cameras could chime in and give their exact 4-digits firmware version (after update to the last version available on the jp site), it would be great!

Maybe that is something that PentaxForums.com - The Largest Pentax-Dedicated Photography Forum Community- Home could consider: to have a (sticky?) page with the list of the latest firmwares and links to the firmware download sites, together with possilby links to threads discussing these updates (if any).

Food for thought...

All updates are for "Improved stability of recording image for some SDHC Memory card."
This is heartening to see that they actually updated a 4-years old model...

Improves stability of writing to SD cards.

Just clicked on that link, was in Japanese, then asked for English, which it did .... couldn't find this hidden firmware.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
And, what is this firmware supposed to add?

Well, just download the last v1.10 firmware on the site...
As to what was fixed/added in it, no way to know exactly!
