kx: a hairline V on top of focusing bracket

So finally, I got my hands on my k-x.

i opened the box, attached my lens, and when i looked through the viewfinder, i found a v-shaped uneven hairline at the top of the focusing brackets.

is it normal? or my focusing screen or some other part is dirty?

suggestions please?

You could send it in to be cleaned (should be covered under warranty?), or just live with it, won't affect images and something will get in there sooner or later anyways. You'll be looking past it in no time. Seems like something too petty to warrant a return/exchange, but I don't think that is out of the question either.

you can try to blow it away. if it dose not work, you can try to release the lock and blow the upside of focusing screen

I would give it a shot with your blower; however, due to the location it is very difficult to get to. I would recommend the rocket blower if you don't already have one as it has a long tip on it that allows you to blow air into tight places.
