Well considering the price of new K-7's, I'd say its a no-brainer regarding K-7 vs. K20d.

Good comprasion yeatzee! I too own a k200d and was thinking bout getting a k7 this year.
Although by k200d works perfectly and i love it i just wish i had more manual control hence the reason for wanting a k7, or i may hold off untill pentax announce whats coming.

My thoughts exactly. I miss the controls (previous camera being PZ-1p) in K200D. But like you, I keep postponing till Pentax announces/leaks any new camera body. Hoping for a K-7 body with K-x sensor and priced in between.

Any specific questions regarding both cameras just ask guys. I made a video today, but it turns out my laptop does not have windows movie editor so I have no way of editing the video. For now, its just going to sit here until I find a solution.

Also if I could, direct you to this thread:

I stated that base ISO IQ seems no different, well after today im not so sure. I've never had macro's come out so vivid and yet accurate to real life before. The saturation, everything was perfect. I've never been so enamored by SOC Jpeg's Im beggining to fall in love with the K-7 more and more as I shoot with it. Its a worthy successor of the K200d IMO, and I can already tell that Im getting shots I'd miss with the k200d around my neck.

Most of my shots are at base iso, would you be able to post side by side comparison's of the k200d and k7 at base iso shooting the same subject with same settings and same lens?

I have not used the K200, but I have used the K2000 and owned a K10 which have the same sensor and I like the K7/K20 look better. Not sure what is the difference, but I felt like those photos were colder. I personally see a big jump in IQ from the K10 to the K7 and a lot more in focus photos, but as I say, I have never used a K200, so it may really be better than the K7...

Custom function 29 according to the manual. I don't have a k7 yet, though.
