I was just wondering -- Autofocus noise

I was just wondering if there is a way to eliminate the noise of the autofocus on the Kx/K7?

I just came back shooting from a very quiet and solemn place and people are quite disturbed by the noise...

Manual focus, SDM, HSM are your options. Manual focus being the least expensive option.

oh well,
guess its MF then, dont have the money to get those lenses (o_O)
the AF its just that its a bit disturbing really in some situations.
