just got k-x.

when i move the camera sometimes it makes a slight grinding/gearing sound.

iis that normal? i imagine it might be the stabilzer??

im not shaking it per se.

its just if i move it real fast in a direction it makes a slight grinding/buzz/mechanical adjusting sound.

I hear it the most when I'm trying to shoot video, but not so much when taking pictures.

Its most likely the Shake reduction feature when you are using live view mode. See this article.

It's the most asked question here, and yes, it's normal.

Think of it like a level.

What worried me is that mine DOESN'T make that noise.
