Infinity Three Minute Mod for M42 lens

Take your basic 300mm m42 mount lens you see here
Name:  300mm F4.jpg
Views: 3261
Size:  44.0 KB

Add one "el cheapo" M42 to PK lens adapter shown here.

Size:  35.7 KB

Remove the 3 screws from the bottom. Remove one or two of the flange spacers shown here.

Reassemble the lens. Store the unused flanges in a safe location. Attach the "el cheapo" bayonet adapter. Now use your lens.

Now you have infinity and beyond on your oldie but goodie Takumar lens. Total time about three minutes and its totally reverseable.

Ahh, man, you just blew the market for cheap adapters. Now everyone knows.

I suppse you're also gonna add that the lens can be made to lock normally AND that it covers the lens mount contacts so catch-in-focus is possible if you remove a little paint, huh?.

hi, do you have by any chance an assembly plan to get to the diaphragm of exactly this lens model
