Posted By: photogem, 11-10-2023, 03:38 PM

Files Collections for later Pentax DSLR’s since K-7 and K-m:

click on your selected Pentax DSLR and the download (verified and safe) will start:

K-5
K-5II
K-5IIs
K-01
K-30
K-50
K-500
K-S1
K-S2
K-3
K-3II
KP
K-1
K-1II

Create DEBUG-MODE for the K-70:

1.
a) On the computer desktop right click ... select "create"- select "new - text document" and give it the name: 00077770.524
You get a text file with the name: 00077770.524.txt
b) Double click to open it and paste in: [OPEN_DEBUG_MENU] (youcan just copy it from here),
close, save and rename again into 00077770.524 but without ".txt"!)

Now you have a file named just: 00077770.524

2.
a) Create a second file on the computer desktop, right click .. select"create" - select "new - text document"..create a file and give it the name: DEVELOP.MOD.txt
b) The extension ".txt" is not needed so rename and delete.txt.

Now you have a file just named just: DEVELOP.MOD

3. Copy both files to your formatted SD card "NEXT to the folder DCMI" (i.e. not into the DCMI-folder!)

4.

a) Insert the prepared SD card into the camera but leave the carddoor open and switch the camera ON:
The camera enters directly into the debug mode!
b) Set whatever is needed
c) Press the “Menu” button (the screen will turn off) and turn OFF yourcamera.
d) Take the SD card out and delete the two folders (which you havesafely stored somewhere else on a harddisk or similar for when you need itagain of course).

Here you find the DEBUG-Menu's for all the older Pentax DSLR's

Actally no:
The original uploader was member Duc-Driver from Germany (Stefan):
He first had the Lenscollection HERE
in the German DSLR Forum!

Two days later Feb. 2014 he introduced them here in our forum:
Collection of Lenseep / Lensroms - PentaxForums.com

If you had studied the link you supplied you would have quickly stumbled over the conversation I had there with member fayssal:
He wrote there that he got all the data from Stefan!
And so did I and had mentioned this in a few other older threads as well!

But the original link by Stefan:
Dropbox - Link Disabled - Simplify your life
is down since quite a while.
