I might be selling one of these soon. Really, really cheap too since it is broken and can only shoot wide open

my old faithful M 50/1.4 is slowly giving up on me (really stiff to focus to infinity after it fell face up to the ground from chair - if it wasn't for the filter which got badly banged, I think the whole lens would suffer more), so I was thinking about if one of these 55/1.2 would be worth to fill its place? which one do you recommend? Revuenon or Porst? I shoot only film.

while I have fun with this lens, the A [not M] 50/1.4 is about my favorite manual focus fast-50 lens [I don't have an M, so not that I like it less than the A, I just don't have it]. They're both within reach cost-wise so it's a toss-up on that criteria for me. The bokeh of this lens is quite 'unusual' in its non-symmetrical nature coupled with a crescent at part of an edge on specular highlights, so not for everyone, or all situations. The Pentax-A 50/1.4 is quite smooth in comparison.

I'm going to be selling mine soon. Except mine is in pristine condition with metal hood and Hoya +1+2+4 close-up filters so it will be a bit pricey....
....hmm...should I sell it?

I just gave up on one of these on ebay for past $160. weep for me.

I will have to do with merely awesome bokeh elsewhere for the time being...

I was following that one as well, though I didn't bid. It's going to go for well over $200 by the time it is over.

The supply has dried up so I'd expect $250-300. I think I paid in that range some time ago.

I don't have any extra copies of this lens, but I may be selling my copy to finance a K-7 purchase. We'll see. If you're looking on Ebay, this guy has sold a good number of them. He might have more up his sleeve, I don't know.
