If that's what's meant by point and shoot, you have to outlaw most rangefinders as they have fiddly exposure controls. A Leica M2 is a meterless fully-manual camera, but it gets in by the rules.

I think the term point and shoot as meant by this forum is:

1. No/few manual controls or automatic exposure capability present

2. No TTL viewing.
