Defective Optio M10

I use my very good Optio M10 for survey work, as it is small and compact. However, just now it is taking photos and recording them only in yellow / red on the screen, with lots of horizontal lines across. Printing off is the same, so the camera is useless. Can anyone explain what has happened? Any assistance much appreciated.

I'd try changing the card first. If that doesn't help, and the photos look corrupted in-camera, you might need to send the camera in.
