W90 Timelaps

Can I use Pclix to make timelaps with the Pentax Optio W90?
I would love to use an expensive SLR camera to make timelaps, but would it stay where I put it somewhere out in the wild?
If i want to switch between multiple camera angles, it becomes even more expensive. Finally SLR cameras tend to make noise when the mirror flips witch will not make it easier to photograph animals.

The website is not updated with the supported models, but the Pentax specs say that the W90 is compatible with the E and F remotes, so if the Pclix can talk in that format, it should work for you.
