ist DL Problem

My ist DL will not switch out of AV mode. Does not matter where I put the selector switch. Does not matter if I have it in auto mode. still stays in AV mode. Any suggestions besides sending it in for repair. I have about 10,000 shots on it.

Thanks
SamIV

What lens are you using it with? I believe old lenses without the aperture contacts (K or M series) will read out as Av mode in any auto or semi auto mode. Failing that, perhaps your lens has shifted from the "A" setting or the aperture contacts need a cleaning. Have you tried a different lens?
