Hello everyone,
I just bought my wife an X90 for her birthday from Amazon.
She really likes the camera and gets good results - but one thing really bothers us.
When she frames an image and partially closes the shutter to focus the camera, the view through the viewfinder remains out of focus. Even when she squeezes the buton right down to take the picture the image through the viewfinder remains out of focus.
Looking at the image in the LCD screen is fine with the image well focused.
Similarly the actual photos are well focused and clear.
Are we missing something in the camera set-up which would focus the image in the view finder?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you set the view finder for maximum focus for her eyes? There's a little turn wheel next to it. It must be set by looking through it, turn the wheel until the sharpest image comes in focus and it is now set for that person's eye.

Thanks for your reply, which solved the problem straight away. We had not even noticed the small thumb-wheel which does this adjustment.
If only all of life's problems could be solved as quickly and easily.
