All I can say, is that I am an idiot for starting this thread - back in 2011.
I own a Q - now 2012 - and love it. I was wrong.

I still want the things I talked about, but the Q is an amazing camera.

I was wrong. How many times do I have to say it?

(I think when I get my K-01, I will be searching for threads where I bashed that camera)

Welcome to Q enthusiasm. I was deeply suspicious of the Q too, but I love mine.

Hmmm. Fair enough, if you're after a Q then it's probably a fine little camera. But, I'm still after some basics from Pentax, which regardless of the new cam, would be awfully nice to see from a camera company. I really reLly don't think that asking for an extension tube with contacts and aperture coupling is asking too much.

I didn't think the Q was for me, either, but I was wrong, too. Mind you, I didn't start a thread about it, either.

Why don't you start a Q-converts Club, Lauren? It'd probably grow fairly quickly.

I try not to be wrong, but when I am, I freely admit it.
I definitely give up my ego for something that I get incorrect.
I wish I could be better at not being wrong, but with the passion I have for photography and of course Pentax - emotion gets in the way.

Then again, being a woman, I claim that dual standard!!!!!

Hence my new signature line below.

Ah, but my point is that you're in good company. Perhaps a signature's a better idea than another Club thread. If that's the case, then a banner may be the thing to go with. Anyone good at design?
