Absolument ! J'ai pas mal d'avions (pour la plupart, de ligne), quelques raretés (mais qui ne sont pas de belles photos), quelques hélicoptères, et même des bernaches du Canada.

(Why yes. I have quite a lot, most of them being airliners. Some are not common - but not great photos either ; some helicopters and even Canada goose).

Good to hear you already have some to choose from. I came to Florida thinking i'd stay a couple of week and left the K5 home to travel light (then extended for another month). So i brought the Panasonic with me just too fool around and you guys got me restless. Then the competitiveness kicked in and now we're off! So i'll kick it off with a non-competitive example where this guy is calling for your entries. And don't forget that fireworks qualify.

Nice falcon ! One of the fastest birds when diving on attack, with a max speed around 200MPH.

I just post this one as an example, as it already ran in #36:

Oh crikey! This means I will actually have to leave the house Most of my flying things were shot with a dSLR. Time to break out the FZ100 methinks.

As I woke up early and I feel there’s no way to fall back asleep again, I’ll post something

I have many things that fly, but I’d like to avoid airplanes, even if I have the whole Boeing and Airbus line-ups (excepted the 727 and A300). All in flight, most prior to landing (granted, it’s easier). I won’t explain any longer, as I may submit one of them, and I want to keep the thrill.

The 767 with fog and vortices is not intended to run the contest, as it already did. It was just to prime the pump

I also enjoy photographing airborne, or just airborne birds, but this ain’t an easy job. I miss most of them. Still, I have some, which I may be entering.

There are already nice entries. The line of gulls amuses me.

Submit a 767! That one is great, is there any reason you can't submit the same one twice? I have some airborne birds, but most were shot with a dslr + 300mm lens. Didn't break out the FZ100, just can't take to it, so retrieved some old stuff. Those gulls were literally waiting for food. An elderly gentleman comes down frequently to give them his leftover cleanings from fishing. The flurry of wings and birds is amazing... and I've just spent that last 30 minutes searching iphoto for the one and only shot I have of that particular incident... and its gone. I really need to start keywording and locking files from deletion.

Thanks They are quite amusing birds at times. Here's another (not for the comp, it was shot with a K200D) in which I imagine the one on the end is keeping watch, whilst the one next to her is telling the others

"SHHHHHHH stop talking! She's WATCHING!"
