Thanks, ivoire and Immunogirl. Appreciated!

Great entries from you two!
My favourites are the mural and the lobster boat.

Oh, my guess about the old men would be they were innocent: most older people are farsighted

You always pick the black & white one.

Hopefully they weren't navigating by feel given their sight difficulties

That's me .
I seem to end up with all my favourite pictures being converted to B&W lately.

(and no, I'm not feeling depressed )

Some pics really give all (all what? Don't know. Some are really empowered when turned into B&W). However Bart, if any manufacturer was releasing a B&W-only digital cam, I guess you'd count among customers

Of course B&W doesn't mean someone's depressed. And that's a luck
"No colors anymore, I want them to turn black" (from "Paint it Black" of course). He just doesn't sing "black & white"

Sorry for digressing. I should get some pics, mind you I have an idea... and it is a miracle, too

Hmm. Don't know about that: great part of the fun is in the conversion process for me.

Looking forward to your entries, G.T

I didnt think I'd make it this month but I have a couple to submit. Having a monochrome week.

1) Busdriver

2) Roadwork. Typically Aussie council workers. One to do something and everyone else to stand around or supervise.

3) Gone Fishing: if you squint really hard you can see the fisherman driving the boat

First two, Fujifilm F550EXR, last one Canon G11

Fine entries, kyteflyer!

I enjoyed your monochromatic week

Your last shot gave me an idea for my third entry, by the way:

Skipper of DN 59

There are a couple of construction workers in the background as well

Interesting but strange. Bart's third entry is only partially visible - about the top third - if I open this page in Firefox. It shows everything in Chrome or IE.
Excellent entries from everyone so far. Very well done.

Strange indeed. I just checked with Firefox and everything seems visible. I load all my pictures for these P&S Contests into my Album here so it should be available when the site is.

Did you try the <Ctrl + F5> (reload of page)?

No problem here. I just have to play with the scrollbar, but it's window-size related, not a FF issue.
