Hey, I liked that boat picture, Erik!

Great bikes, G.T

Amazing cat photo, wildman! Sort of a reversed Ying & Yang.

Wonderful composition, woof.

Yea.
I was just looking at the other pics when it occurred to me that with a bit of cropping that shot might qualify as a juxtaposition.
Ying and Yang is hard to escape from it's everywhere if you just look for it.

Here, here. The Cat photo is wonderful. I cannot for the life of me decide if I like the color or black and white better. Just when I think i love the tonality of the B&W, I see the colors and fall for that...

And that's coming from a...

woof!

I think I would go with the BW but not by much. At heart I'm a minimalist.

Your church shot is interesting. With architectural shots the conventional wisdom is to give them a lot of pop with deep saturation and a lot of contrast.

Yours has an almost pastel water color quality to it. I like that. It's unexpected and sets up a tension between the abstract geometry and the humanizing effect of the colors. It works well in this case which is sacred buildings rather than just things.

Oh wow, where to start... Bart's photos of the swans & the trees are great... Kyteflyer's clouds in the streets... The cat photos... The buildings by woof... I like the blue eggs taken with the cell phone cam... The clam shells... And I know I'm forgetting which ones I liked from page 3.

I'm glad that this topic was a bit more challenging, but not so challenging that none of you bothered...

and I'm still expecting entries from unixrevolution even though he's trying to bow out early

You can expect whatever you like, but don't hold me personally responsible for any resultant disappointment.

What's the policy on changing out a previously submitted picture with a new one?
