Wow!! Great images and creative ideas all around. Immunogirl, i don't envy you having to judge this one.

I'm feeling pretty sorry for myself as well, however as a glutton for punishment, I invite you guys to make it worse and make the judging even harder.

Second try... I'm not that satisfied with my entries, but it might not be over

Haven't had a chance to get over here much, but have enjoyed the entries!

Here's one from an Olympus XA2, small 35mm scale focus camera:

A very "French" juxtaposition, G.T Good one.

Love the composition and tones, chubasco! Good choice for the theme.

I removed two of the pictures in my original post since I thought these are more befitting

2.) Neighbor from across the ocean (for those who aren't familiar with aviation, that's a China Airlines' 747 in Dallas Ft. Worth close to the American terminal) Canon A620 (I used digital zoom so the quality is meh)

3.) Ground crew at Tokyo Narita. Those people are the size of the wheel and that tug can move that fully loaded plane. Canon A620

@ Bart: yes. I had a bit of light yesterday and enjoyed my brother was here with his little red rooster
I'll add this for the record and to enlight people which may not notice the hint: these cars are the same type, just the trim level and year differs. The grey one is... a kind of greyhound '93 Junior Diesel (entry level, cheap and bare - although the rear wiper, heating rear window and clock were standard equipment that year) while the red one is a '86 1.6 GTI, lightweight sport model, highest trimming level on the 205 line-up.

@Sam: nice pair of 747.

Oh dear. Poor Immunogirl

Great shots again, chubasco. Love the "processing".
They go very well with the theme, for me.

I like the smallness of man versus the giant machine, Samtr87.

Does drinking and chess go together, Laurentiu Cristofor?

Bart and G.T, thanks, too kind. The blotches of light on the 24/7 Summer display
were caused by large skylights in the walkway of the mall:

this is not an entry:

from the same roll as pics 2 and 3.
